Albers begins testing at Barcelona

Today Christijan Albers began testing again with MF1 Racing. He joined the team at Circuit de Catalunya. The team began testing on Tuesday with team mate Tiago Monteiro. On Wednesday morning Monteiro continued running at the Spanish track and after the lunch break Christijan took over the wheel.

Christijan's fastest lap was set at 1.19.300 as he completed 28 laps. At the end of the day Christijan Albers said about his day: "It was unfortunate that it was cold this morning because we lost a lot of time on track. Because it is around 2 or 3 degrees it is very difficult to get the tyres heated up. I'm glad I could cover the number of laps I did though. It went very well."

On Thusday Christijan will continue testing with Midland. "Tomorrow we will be running a tyre program with Bridgestone and complete a race distance. Hopefully there won't be any red flags interrupting the run. We will probably also do a qualifying simulation and continue to improve the car."
