Mechanical problem for Bourdais

It was a case of "Spa weather" at Spa today, with only part of the morning run in the dry, after a damp start and then a wet end to the second day of testing. France's Sebastien Bourdais took over in the cockpit from Tonio Liuzzi today.

Although the weather hampered progress, the team carried out aero work in terms of assessing downforce levels for this track, as well as some work on brakes. The changing conditions provided a useful opportunity to try out the Bridgestone wet and extreme wet tyres. An hour was lost at the end of the day when the car stopped on track with a mechanical problem.

Bourdais continues testing tomorrow.
