Set-up preparations for Williams

Spa lived upto its reputation today as running was severely hampered by rain showers. Nico Rosberg, on duty for the second day running, enjoyed only sporadic outings on to the track as the team played a game of cat and mouse with the poor weather.

Ten other drivers were on duty at the classic Spa-Francorchamps track, representing all eleven teams. Nico recorded the ninth quickest time of the day on lap 14 (out of 54). The team will return to the track tomorrow for the final of the three day test with Alex Wurz on duty.

Dickie Stanford, Test Team Manager, Williams F1: "The whole session was severely hampered by rain today. We spent most of the day carrying out our usual set-up preparations just waiting for dry spells and the opportunity to send the car out. As a result, we lost a lot of track time. Alex will take over from Nico tomorrow so we will spend the evening converting the car and praying for better weather for our last day in Spa!”
