Very productive day for Button
Jenson Button was in action at Silverstone again today for the second day of the test as the Honda Racing F1 Team continues its preparations for the forthcoming British Grand Prix at the same circuit.
Jenson spent the morning session developing the set-up of the Honda RA108 in advance of the race, in addition to continuing the evaluation of the team’s new aerodynamic package. The afternoon saw a comprehensive tyre programme with the Bridgestone prime and option tyres which will be used at the British Grand Prix.
Jenson covered a total of 104 laps today, successfully completing the planned programme despite a short rain shower which briefly interrupted the morning session.
The weather conditions at Silverstone today were cool and cloudy with a strong blustery breeze in the afternoon.
Rubens Barrichello will join the team at Silverstone tomorrow to complete the final day of the test.
