Day 2 for BMW

Today, race driver Jacques Villeneuve and test driver Robert Kubica of the BMW Sauber F1 Team continued testing at the Paul Ricard Circuit in France today. Tomorrow Nick Heidfeld will take over from Villeneuve and will join Kubica on track.

Jacques Villeneuve:

Robert Kubica:

In the morning, both drivers worked on the set-up of the car. Jacques also tested some aerodynamic parts. In the afternoon, Robert completed a tyre test development programme for Michelin and evaluated different tyre specifications in view of the European Grand Prix at the Nürburgring. Jacques was forced to finish his working day prematurely due to a fuel system problem that could not be fixed in time.

Tomorrow, Robert will drive alongside Nick Heidfeld who will take over from Jacques for the final day.
