Final day for BMW at Barcelona

By on

Both drivers had a busy and productive day with positive feedback. In the morning Jacques Villeneuve did some more aero and set-up work as well as systems testing, a starting development programme and traction control settings.

In the afternoon he did longer runs so Michelin and the team could study the tyre performance. Both Jacques and his engineers were happy with the work they had done validating what they need for Imola. Robert Kubica did set up work in the morning and then in the afternoon concentrated solely on a tyre programme.

What comes next:
This is the final day of the three day test during which the BMW Sauber F1 Team has covered approximately 2,500 kilometres with its three drivers - Nick Heidfeld, Jacques Villeneuve and Robert Kubica - who have done two days each. The first race of the European season is on the 23rd April in Imola and the next test for the team will be in Silverstone on the 25th, 26th and 27th April.
